Three Word Chart: Plague Edition: June 23rd 2013
Apologies for the lateness but it seems that we both have the plague. With that in mind this special plagued edition of the chart will only cover the three new entries in the top 10. I’m certain that we will be fine once the weeping cysts on our faces die down. Oh how I wish that we were doing the full chart because that would be the perfect segue into Passenger (who is still in […]

Trailer Watch: Sony Playstation Press Conference @ E3 2013
Sony turned into Ivan Drago last night and sadly the Xbox One looked an awful lot like Apollo Creed when they were done. It was a death blow of epic proportions that has laid waste to Microsoft’s reasonably impressive outing earlier in the day. What happened in Los Angeles last night was a corporate assassination that previously would have been expected of the victim rather than the aggressor. The Xbox One hit’s shelves for £429 in […]

Audio: Reaction to Matt Smith Leaving Doctor Who
For those of you that haven’t heard, we advise that you go to this link: BBC Doctor Who official blog So we knew we had to react to this news, but we both wanted to comment so we had the idea to record our conversation in our kitchen, where we do most of our post-telly watching analysis, and transcribe the discussion for our readers. However we do tend to get a bit carried away and […]

Trailer Watch: Xbox One Special
Yesterday was a big day for Microsoft; after the Playstation 4 reveal, in which the focus was very much on the fact that it was a gaming machine, the reveal of the next generation Xbox truly needed to deliver. How did they do? I’m watching it for the very first time and sharing my thoughts. – The opening segment is the typical stuff you would expect; complete with celebrity cameos. Some obvious (Bill Gates) others […]

Trailer Watch 15th May 2013: Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, Pokemon X and Y, Hellraid
There has been an inevitable lull in trailers this week, what with Microsoft’s XBox announcement/conference next Tuesday. That being said there are still some pretty interesting things coming out soon some of which have trailers worth watching. Techland are known for their ridiculously brilliant trailers. The announcement trailer for Dead Rising was brutal, in all of the right ways. It’s a shame that the game barely registered above a resigned ‘meh’. It’s refreshing, then, to […]
